What Should Be Done For Fractured Fibula Roller Ska-tin To Recover As Soon As Possible?

I am a 40 year old active woman and I fractured my fibula roller skating. I have been in a boot and on crutches for 6 weeks. I went to the orthopedic dr today and was told that the break (no displaced but broke on an angle and not a straight break) was healing but not healed. I was advised to stay on crutches and place 50% weight bearing with the use of the crutches as I can stand it. I'm due to follow up in another 4 weeks. Is there anything that I can do to help the process along? I'm very frustrated and am wanting to get back to physical activities as soon as I can. He mentioned if this doesn't heal I may have to try electronic stimulation, but this is worst case scenario. He also scheduled a dexa scan to cover all the bases.

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I really understand your problem, if there is malunion have taken place then this will take more time to heal in that position only, and you have adjust it accordingly, physiotherapy is the best way to over come this problem rapidly, later or sooner this will get alright, no need to worry have nice time.
