What Should Be Done For Hallucinations In 78 Year Old Woman?
I have a question about my grandmother. She is 78 and just recently had what we believe to be a hallucination where she had a conversation with and saw her dead parents and brother and at the end of the conversation someone told her she had cancer. She is severely dizzy and taking a lot of medications, should we take the news from the hallucination seriously?
Yes, recent hallucinations need to be looked into. it may indicate an underlying disease condition or may indicate adverse effect of certain drug interactions.
