What Should Be Done For The Numbness In Face, Headache And Ringing In Ears After Tooth Extraction?
hi there My brother had his wisdom teeth removed around 2 months ago.. Since then he had a numbness in his face, headaches and now there is also ringing in his ears, he keeps visiting different types of doctors but nobody seems to be able to help him. I was just wondering if you would have any suggestions what it might be or what's best to do now. Many thanks Andrea
THANKS FOR YOUR QUERY, I have gone through your question, the features suggests the cause of numbness could be because of the trauma or pressure over the nerve while removing the wisdom tooth. it takes time to recover you can take capsule neurobion once daily which help in nerve regeneration...headache and ringing in the ears could be the referred pain from jaw joint, the disc displacement of the jaw joint it is because of keeping your mouth open for long time during extraction...give rest to joint, take soft diet, dont open your mouth wide...you can take tablet piroxicam 20mg twice daily on first day and once daily for next 6 days....if the numbness continues consult your dentist.. i hope my answer will help you.. take care..
