Hi.
Thanks for your query and an elucidate history.
First of all request your Doctor top give therapeutic as well as curatice dose and medicines to see that the bacteria from gall bladder. live and spleen are finished.

Secondly- Food ; Only home-made food is allowed. As the typhoid is the infection of the small intestines at its end segment, anything which is given is going to be almost digested so no food restriction are ideally needed. As you would see the appetite and the cravings of the patient increase through the recovery phase.
Give Her soft and bland diet. Do not restrict anything as such . I repeat by the time the food reaches the lower small intestine , the food is almost digested.

There is no treatment of hairloss after typhoid. The best part is that all the patients do not loose hair after typhoid.
Due to newer medicines the cure rate of typhoid and its complications is reducing , so do not worry.
Ask her to take multi-vitamin supplements twice daily for 3 weeks and then once a day for many months.
She may not have a hair loss at all.
