hi, dr. boskey gandhi is here, 1st if all, congratulations for getting opportunity to become parent, ! hbsag is hepatitis b antigen & it transmit from mother to baby only during delivery. so during pregnancy, your wife should not get complications of this disease, & after baby born, passive immunization of hepatitis b is must within 24hrs for prevantion of getting disease to baby. so take care, of both.
