What Should Be The Possible Duration Between Two Sonogram Tests ?

Hi!
I did pregnancy test at home, but it was negative. My LMP was on December 03. And I missed my periods since 3 days. Then I went to my doctor office, she did my pregnancy test by my urine but it was also negative. She has prescribed blood test for pregnancy, and a sonogram. When technician was doing my sonogram, she was asking me that have I ever had this test before? I told her that I had one last month, and everything was normal.
Technician didn't tell me anything today and just asked me to wait for results. But I am worried because the way she was asking me was strange.

Hi,
Thanks for consulting us.
There is no standard or recommended gap between two scan. Probably the person doing scan wanted to compare some of the findings with any previous available scans. This is very important sometimes to draw any conclusion.
You did a good thing to follow your doctors advice. Both the test results are very important to rule out complications like ectopic pregnancy.
Wait for the results & take care.
