What Should Be The Suggested Medication For Urinary Track Infection?
Good Morning Doc, I am 45 yr old lady and i think i could be having urinal tract infection as i feel some pressure and pain while urinating. I have started with Cital syruo since last evening, and i feel less pain today. do i continue this medication simply, or do i go to an urologist for consultation? Thankyou
I have read your symptoms and understand your concern. To be able to say for sure that you have an urinary tract infection you need to do an urine test. But your symptoms correlates with an UTI. When there are no signs of a severe infection, sometimes just having plenty of liquids (2-3 liters each day), drinking rose tea (1-2 cup a day), not holding your urine, is more than enough to heal from the infection. I suggest, since you are feeling better,ad the amount of liquids that i wrotte and wait a couple of days. If your symptoms don't wanish,or if you have new symptoms check up with your family doctor and do an urine test.
