Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have hemorrhoids and constipation problems. Yesterday I had a hard stool that cut me and it bled. Tonight another hard stool with pain with blood, but on the outside of the stool were red blood clots, are these from the hemorrhoids and the earlier bleeding or something else new. The blood clots scare me.
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, constipation is the main cause of hemorrhoid so first thing you really need to do it relieve the constipation and for this drink more water have lot of fiber containing diet, use stool softener that contains Isabgol powder and fiber, keep regular habit of defecation be inside even in absence of feeling of that, hemorrhoid can be managed conservatively and some time gives good result but surgery is the best option if it does not cures hope this information helps.
