What Should The Normal Dosage Be For Colazal When One Is Diagnosed With Ulcerative Colitis?
Hello, my daughter is 20 years old and was just diagnosed with ulceritise colitis, the Dr. recommended her to take (3) 750/225ml of Colazal three times a day. This seem like an awful lot. Does this seem normal? The Dr. is busy has not returned calls, i am communicating with his nurses.

Yes this dose is the normal range for the paediatric age group.
FOR A CHILD above 5 years ,it is 750 mg thrice daily for upto 8 weeks.
You dont have to worry a bit about the dose ,because your daughter is 20 yrs and may be if the symptoms persist you may have to increase the dose .
