Hi, Thanks for using HCM.
The human skeleton is composed of 300 bones at birth and by the time adulthood is reached, some bones have fused together to give a total of 206 bones in the body. The bone mass in the skeleton reaches maximum density around age 30. Initially ossification center for a particular bone appears each bone has its center appearance at a particular age.
At birth most of the bones not not fully developed. many held together with a fibrous tissue which slowly becomes hard with deposition of calcium salts in it with help of bone cells up to adulthood.
Continuous bone forming and bone resorption will be going on in most of long bones. Usually exercise is a good stimulus for bone forming cells which to maintain bone density.
Hope this helps you.
Regards
