What Symptoms Are Associated With Hydrocephalus Condition?

Hello. I am having an issue with the feeling of fluid in the right side of my head. This is generally prominent at night when lying down however, recently it occurs even when standing. The feeling is best described as the sound one would hear if tapping on a melon. Or being under water. It is only on the left side and it started about two months ago. In January 2016 I had a TIA. The doctors found three areas spots on the left side of the brain but after many tests, it was determined that these spots were old and likely the result of the TIA. A second MRI was taken one year later and showed no new incidents. Could this new condition be related?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It could be related to hydrocephalus also. Consult a neurosurgeon and plan for an MRI scan.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
