Hii ,
Welcome To HCM & Thanks For Asking Your Query Here
The symptoms of Liver
cirrhosis vary with the stage of the illness, In the initial stage there may not be any symptoms. As the disease worsens, symptoms may include :
-Loss of appetite ,Lack of energy (fatigue),Yellowing of skin or the whites of eyes (
jaundice) ,Itchy skin ,Fluid retention (edema) and swelling in the ankles, legs, and abdomen (often an early sign) ,A brownish or orange tint to the urine
Light colored stools ,Confusion,
disorientation, personality changes ,Blood in the stool and Fever
before treating the disease it is important to rule out the exact cause of the problem because liver cirrhosis can be caused by
alcoholism ,
hepatitis , or it may also be caused by auto immune diseases so i would strongly suggest you to see a Hepatologist (Liver specialist )
he will examine your mother thoroughly and may go for all necessary medical investigations to rule out the underlying medical condition
you may find a good Hepatologist or gastroenterologist in Patna , Bihar
I hope it help
