What Test Should Be Done For The Diagnosis Of Fungal Infection?
I had a fungal infection on the penis about a year back due to high sugar. After treatment It has now gone and my sugar is also in control. (I am a diabetic Type 2). I am told that even though the infection is clear now, there is a possibility of transmitting the infection to my wife in case of having sex. My question is: Which test do I get done to be sure that the infection is no more there and which is the specialised doctor that I should consult for this?
