What Tests Can Be Done For Continued Headache, Cough, Nausea And Vomiting With History Of Viral Infection?

My grandson had a virus in October, 2013 this fall. He had bad headaches and coughing, nausea and vomiting. Since then he still has the same symptoms. His pediatrician took blood tests but nothing showed up. He is not eating well and is losing weight. What other tests would you recommend?

Radiologist 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for writing in.

I suggest you consult a neurologist for your grandson and get him evaluated in detail. Progressing headaches, nausea and vomiting may indicate neurological disease. A MRI scan of brain may be asked if necessary.
