Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I have read the description posted by you and understand your concern.
Virginity test is the practice and process of determining whether a girl or woman is a virgin. It tells whether the person has never engaged in sexual intercourse.
The test involves an inspection of the hymen, on the assumption that it can only be torn as a result of sexual intercourse.
Another form of virginity tests involves testing for laxity of vaginal muscles with fingers called the "two-finger test", which is performed by the doctor.
This will tell if the person is "habituated to sexual intercourse".
However, presence of an intact hymen is not a reliable indicator of whether a female has been vaginally penetrated because tearing of the hymen may have been the result of other event such as during playing some sports or horse riding.
In your case, the hymen might have been damaged as you are stating that you have pain and bleeding, which happens generally due to its rupture.
You may kindly get it examined by a Gynecologist for confirmation.
A surgical procedure can be done, called
hymenorrhaphy or
hymenoplasty, to repair or replace a torn hymen.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
