Hello thanks for asking from HCM for your health related queries
I can understand your concern. Seizures occurs due to disorganised electrical actvity in brain. In most of individuals seizures are idiopathic that is no specific cause can be found that results in seizures. For acute onset seizures no specific blood tests are advisd but before starting treatment complete blood count, liver function and renal function tests are advised. To find out local seizure focus EEG is advised. To rule out any brain lesion tests like CT scan and MRI scan are advised. You can visit a doctor and can ask for these tests for work up of seizures.
Thanks, Hope this helps you. Take care.
