What Time Is Taken For Testicles To Get Normal After Varicocele Surgery ?
i had a varicocele surgery a week before and my left testicles hangs lower than the right and appears big in size.. As per my doctor's advice i'm wearing a tight briefs as a support for my testicles... how long it ll take for my testicles to be normal again.. any treatment required further..
Hi. Both these things are expected after Varicocele surgery. It hangs down as some venous connections are divided during surgery. Swelling is because the returning blood vessels have been divided and the blood return is slower. Do not worry. It will take 4 to 6 weeks to normalize. You can meanwhile take Tab Daflon twice a day or Tab Chymoral Forte thrice a day for a month. It will help decrease the swelling. Continue to wear tight underwear for atleast another month. Let me know if there are any other queries. Take care. Dr Rishi, New Delhi, India.
