What To Do For Child Suffering From Soreness In Tummy, Armpits, Back And Head With Fever And Cough?
Have been to docs twice but no diagnosis, my 3yr old daughter has a sore tummy and armpits, back and head. Has slight cough and been getting moderate fevers for the last 3days especially at night. Has had urinary sample but came back neg. is currently on amoxil day 3. But no improvement
The signs of your daughter are indicative for upper respiratory tract infection due to a common cold or viral infection most probably complicated with bacterial infection.
She in only on the 3rd day of Amoxil. When drugs are taken orally, they will need up to 3 days to see improvement.
I suggest to keep monitoring your child's temperature, give her Amoxil as directed. If still no improvement after the 3rd day, then, consult with the pediatrician again.
All the best
