First of all, I would like to reassure you that there is no need to worry about your daughter's
MRI findings.
Pineal cyst is most often an incidental finding and no action is necessary for that.
A repeat MRI scan of brain may be done after six months. If there is no change in the size of pineal cyst, then, no treatment would be required.
In a small percentage of patients, the cyst may geo in size. In that case, the cyst would need to be removed by an operation.
