What To Do For Spider Bites Like Appearance With Puss?

My son has what appears to be two spider bites with puss in them. They are swollen and very warm. He has been to the doctor and was given amoxicillin. What would be a suggestion as one has opened up but the other is very tight and painful. Never mind didn t know there was a fee

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain spider bite like appearance with pus can be due to either infected spider/bug bites leading to abscess formation..
It can also b due to hair follicle infection or folliculitis..
As one has opened up it is good as now healing will proceed faster..
You can continue giving him amoxicillin and along with it anti inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen can also be taken for pain relief..
You can apply triple antibiotic cream and a steroid cream over the bumps..
As the other one is tight and painful you can consult a physician and he can put a small incision and drain the fluid as it will ease pain and heal faster..
Continue giving medication as well as topical application for faster resolution of infection..
