I had bilateral ear infections 3 weeks ago. Took Cipro ear drops for two weeks along with a oral antibiotic. After two weeks te pain went away but now I have pressure in my left ear and every time I burp it pops. I've been on a oral steroid for 1 week and it's not helping, the pressure is getting worse. Any suggestions.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of pressure in left ear which seems to be due to persistence of ear infection and it seems to be due to eustachian tube dysfunction.
Need not to worry. I would suggest you to
-Avoid touching or pricking ear with sharp object.
- Put otogesic ear drops. Do warm saline gargles.
- You should take proper course of antibiotic.
- Do warm ear compresses.
Visit ENT specialist once and get it examined and start treatment after proper prescription. You should go for otoscopic ear examination and start treatment accordingly.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
