What To Do For The Shortness Of Breath, Coughing, Chocking Sensation?
I am 76 years old and in good health as far as I know. I recently had shortness of breath, coughing, chocking sensation and tingling in my throat. The CT said, Partially imaged is a fusiform aneurysm of the ascending thoracic aorta which measures 4.7 cm.
Hello As you are 76 years old complaining of shortness in breath , cough , chocking sensation & tingling in throat , all these symptoms may be due to ALLERGIC BRONCHITIS with super infection in throat . But in your case as you mentioned that there is a fusiform aneurysm in the ascending aorta . Aorta takes its origin from left ventricle and it has three parts , 1 Ascending 2 Arch of aorta 3 descending aorta . All these parts supply pure oxygenated blood to body. The most important thing is both right and left coronary arteries are branch of ascending aorta . This part has an aneurysm and that is the main reason of your problem all symptoms mentioned by you. I recommend you consult a CARDIOLOGIST and get his consultation and sort out this . Good luck.
