He had penicillan for 10 days and recovered. 2 Days ;ater, it flared up again and at this time he had a nose bleed that lasted 10 mins, he s had 3 further nose bleeds, high temps, fatigue and today his gums are sore and bleeding. Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Usually nose bleeds in children are due to local infection/dryness of mucosa. But, as she was ill for 3 weeks, we needs a detailed evaluation blood routine test also. Kindly take her to your pediatrician.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam T. K., Pediatrician
