What Could Be The Reason For Having High Fever And Shivering?
I am 41 male. having acute tonsillitis and unable to swallow. At the same time I am having high fever and shivering when the fever is high. Doctor has prescribed Vibazime and paracetemol but little improvement. Shivering while high fever - is it Malaria or in normal cases also Shivering can happen?

Hi,
Any fever usually associated with shivering.
It is not always due to malaria.
As you got acute tonsillitis you may get high fever with shivering.
Continue with antibiotic medicine and within a day or two you will start improving your fever as infection starts clearing.
Meanwhile take paracetamol as and when required at the interval of 6-8 hours.
Ok and take care.
