What To Do If Am Brittle Diabetic, On Insulin Pump, Had Failed Islet Transplants, Not Worked Or Driven And Lacked Confidence?

Hi I am a brittle diabetic of 43 years. Have had two failed islet transplant and been on insulin pump for number of years. I haven t worked or driven car for about eight years. Dear sir

The nature of the brittle diabetes is only like that. There will be rapid swings in the blood sugars which causes hypoglycemia and hyperglycemia.
Since you are on insulin pump there might be less chances of hypoglycemia.
but till you control diabetes dont drive. Take a break. Avoid hypoglycemia and control at near normal levels.
