I am a Diabetic and with this I have gastroparesis and i aslo have sleep apnea can the c-pap can cause the gastroparesis to get worse? and me being a Diabetic I am going to be on the Insulin pump should I wait for me to be on the insulin pump then try the c-pap at night? once I am on the insulin pump.
I read your question carefully and I understand your concern.
The cpap machine mechanism is simply to provide a continuous positive pressure on the the airways so that they do not collapse during sleep. It doesn't affect metabolism so has no influence on diabetes. Digestive system is not affected either. So there is no reason for you to worry in that direction, you can start using the machine without waiting.
I hope to have been of help.
