What To Do If Baby Is Passing Motions With Rancid Smell After Giving Cerelac?
hi, my 12 months baby is having sour smell motion twice a day specially after feeding her cerelac. the stole is mucusy . for last 1 week. she also has fever and cough so doctor just gave her azinthomycin for 5 days. her stole test was also normal so she didnt give her any antibiotic for stomach problem. but after azithromycin her stomach problem is still persistant she cries at night has fever and stole is same. although we are giving her flagyl suspension since yesterday morning.her weight is 9kgs.

I can understand your concern.
For loose stool you may try giving her probiotic sachet, zinc, ors.
If problem persists then repeat the stool test.
I would give my patient susp. Oflomac -m for 3 days for the similar foul smelling loose stool.
