What To Do If Blood Sugar Levels Increased After Dieting?

Good Morning, I have been on a diet for the past 4 months. My blood surgar was around 130 before the diet and A1C was 6.2 two weeks ago I saw my family doctor and my blood surgar was 500 and A1C was 9.5 and now 4 months I have lost 30 pounds and was a 56-58 now I am a 50 - 52 chest size now and lost inches everywhere. I drink 160 ounce of water/Gatoraide 2 a day. Today I fell like week. He told me to keep up my weight lost. I am taking 1.0mg of metformin per day. I live in Tampa and he is in Tennessee. The fact that you are losing weight is very good. Please don't get Frightened by the fluctuating sugar values. My personal Suggestion to you is to avoid all commercial drinks for a month, continue your exercise, continue to lose weight, check your blood sugars for appropriate dose adjustment. i am confident that you will do fine.
