Hello! I am a 25 year old woman with asthma and a few allergies (house dust and some types of pollen), but otherwise in good order. However, about two years ago I have started to feel a sharp, oscillating pain that lasts for 15-20 minutes and comes on after a few sips of alcohol. It happens under no other circumstances, but it doesn't happen every time I have a drink. The temperature or type of drink seems to have no effect. I thought it might have something to do with my liver, but I recently had my liver tested during a general check-up, and it was fine. I don't binge drink, nor do I get drunk. However, I have a very high tolerance of alcohol so when I do go out drinking (which is perhaps twice or three times a month) I may drink on average more than others. What should I look into?
