What To Do If Having Recurring UTI Even After Treatment?

i have chronic uti due to klebsiella spp infection which is sensitive only to imipenam and morepnam-the problem is that ihave taken medication i.v several times for three weeks but recurrence occured one week later after finishing treatment.what can i do plz.

I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.

You have recurrent urinary tract infection by klebsiella. You have to take imipenam & meropenam to control it.

You should check your blood sugar level because diabetes is the most common cause of recurrent urinary tract infection. Also go for ultrasound abdomen once to rule out any obstruction.

Drink plenty of fluid orally.
