What To Do If Having Swollen Vagina And Heavy Discharge Due To Hemorrhagic Cyst On Ovary?

I had an ultrasound a few weeks ago to find what they thought was a hemmorhagic cyst on my ovary. They said it was definitely what was causing my pain and said they thought we could shrink it with meds. They put me on flagyl and doxy for 7 days which made all my symptoms go away until immediately after meds were gone. Now lots of them are back and my vagina is swollen and my discharge is even worse than before. I haven t been back to Dr yet cause I m waiting on my insurance to kick in.

Hi,

I will suggest you to start a course of antibiotics Doxycycline for 14 days and tablet Metronidazole tablets 400 mg for 14 days. Also, I would suggest you to start with a course of birth control pills for 21 days for a period of 3 cycle. Start taking Levocetirizine 10 mg for 20 days for excessive vaginal discharge and take antispasmodic Drotaverine for cramping pain for 5 days.
