What To Do If Infant Is Having Fever, Cold And Cough With Temporary Relief From Crocin 5ml?
1 yr infant running 104 fever with cold n cough. Crocin 5ml twice a day not helping. Fever comes down temporarily but again 104 after two days, now it s 3am at night, what to do? Will starting augmentin duo twice a day will help? YYYY@YYYY

Thanks for your query.
Record temperature 6hourly and give paracetamol when temp is above 100f.
Give mefenemic acid 4to 6 mg/kg if fever is above 102F.
Do tepid sponging.
In case fever persist get him examined by doctor for proper management.
Self medication is not advised.
