What To Do If Scan Shows Empty Uterus After Abortion And Clear Blue Digital Test Shows Positive And Store Bought Conception Test Is Showing Negative?

Hi. I had an abortion on 25.7.13 I had my follow up with a scan and she said I had an empty uterus. It has now been over 6 weeks and I have did clear blue digital which is coming up pregnant 1-2 weeks but have also bought pound land ones and they are coming back negative. I am very confused.

See, one thing is very clear.
Pregnancy tests cannot be relied upon to diagnose whether an abortion is complete.
The ONLY way to tell is to have a follow up scan.
This you did.
An empty uterus clearly means that the abortion was complete.
Have you had unprotected sex since then ?
If not, dont worry.
There is no way you could be having an incomplete abortion.
If yes, then a repeat scan should be done.
HCG takes upto 4 - 6 weeks to get eliminated from the body.
That is why you are getting inconclusive tests.
Stop relying or taking the urine tests, if you have not been sexually active since the follow up scan.
