What To Do If The Child Doesn T Eat Anything?

My son age : 2 years old He does not eat any thing. His blood reports are: T= Test R= Report N=Normal T HB R 8.5gm% N M (13-18gm%) T TLC R 5700/cumm N M (4000-11000/cumm) T Neutrophil R 64% N M (40-70%) T Lymphocyte R 31% N M (20-45%) T Monocyte R 0% N M (2-10%) T Esinophil R 5% N M (1-6%) T Basophil R 0% N M (0-2%) T Platelete court R 2.22 lakh/cumm N M (1.5-4.0 lakh/cumm) T Serumbilirubin T Total R 0.89mg/dl N M (0.2-1mg/dl) T Direct N 0.41mg/dl RT Indirect N 0.48mg/dl R

hi from these reports it looking like your son is having anaemia, mostly iron deficiency which I can tell if I have his peripheral smear report. anaemia per se causes loss of appetite leading to poor food intake and in turn worsening the anaemia. I suggest you to get the peripheral smear test done as his hemoglobin is low and also iron studies to look for his body stores. if it's iron deficiency anaemia you have give iron syrups at least for 3 months after his haemoglbin is corrected. hope this helps you, for any further query fell free to approach us.
