What To Do When The Hip Joints Show Mild Bilateral Osteoarthritis With Issification Of The Superior And Anterosuperior Labrum?
Hello I am contacting regarding some MRI results, can you explain to me: HIP JOINTS SHOW MILD BILATERAL OSTEOARTHRITIS WITH ISSIFICATION IF THE SUPERIOR AND ANTEROSUPERIOR LABRUM. NO JOINT EFFUSION IR SYNOVITIS. ON THE RIGHT THERE IS AN OSTEOCHONDRAL FRAGMENT MEASURING 1.7 CM IN GREATEST DIMENSION ADJACENT TO THE TRANSVERSE LIGAMENT OF THE RIGHT HIP AND MEDIAL TO THE FEMORAL HEAD, LIKELY REPRESENTING THE OSSIFIED FRAGMENT ON CT. THIS DOES NOT APPEAR INTRA-ARTICULAR AND WAS NOT CLEARLY SEEN ON THE MRI FROM 2004. RIGHT ACETABULAR LABRUM IS TORN ANTEROSUPERIORLY AND POSTERIORLY. NO PARA LABRAL CYST FORMATION.
