What To Take Instead Of Advil During Severe PMS In A Patient Who Has One Kidney?
I have hep c my viral load remains very low so I have not had treatment. I have been having worse PMS and severe menstral cramps the last 8 years...since my hep c diagnosis... I am 52 years old. I have declined ablation because there is no guarantee it will help with the PMS bloating weight gain of 10-15 pounds or the severe cramps. The only thing it help be the heavy bleeding. I have had CT of the belly without any thing found and just had a ultrasound no results back yet...I had a ovarian cyst removed 19 years ago and I assume they took the ovary out since the docor cant feel it and no ovary is seen on scaning..my pain is mostly in the LLQ and puts me in bed at least three days a month. the doctor tells me to take advil which I cant take because I only have one kidney and I have told her this. she refuses to give me any pain meds because I refuse to have a total hysterectomy or ablation...I dont think a human being should have to suffer in this day and age. I dont see having to take pain medication for three days a month for sever pain as a dependency issue since hopefully I will have menapause one day soon
