Hi Doctor, My name is divya and i am a 31 year old lady from india. i recently started facing severe neck pain and left hand pain after a small accident i had in office.My MRI shows- loss of cervical lordosis. no listhesis, INTERVERTEBRAL DISC-disc desiccation of C5-C6 intervertebral disc is noted, annular disc bulging with posterior annular tear and left paracentral disc extrusion is seen at C5-C6 level with cord impingment and left neural foraminal stenosis, mild central disc protrusion at c4-c5 level with thecal sac impigmnenet.
Accute disc extrution at c5-c6 level with compression of left nerve root, mild disc protrusion at c4-c5 level

there are two options , you can either go for a conservative approach with drugs like pregabalin and physiotherapy and exercises.
if you dont improve then the other option would be surgery.
if you dont improve then the other option would be surgery.
