Hi. Please tell which type of lung cancer is it. The general principle will be to get neurosurgical consult about damaged L3. Radiotherapy will be required to reduce pain and control cancer at back bone as well. If kidney function is normal bisphosphonates help to reduce pain and chances of fracture. Palliative chemotherapy may help if general condition is good along with liver and kidney functions. the choice of chemotherapy will depend on type of lung cancer.Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help
