Hello,

You are advised to control your blood sugar level at all costs. Take food that will help you lower your blood sugar naturally like legumes, bitter gourd, garlic, sprouts, sea food, nuts & seeds, okra, beans & lentils, kale, etc. High blood sugar will trigger your symptoms. You are advised to take care of your hygiene. Take bath regularly and keep the affected area clean so that it is not infected.

Do not touch or scratch. To help reduce itching apply ointment hydrocortisone on the affected area. You can take antihistamine, one at bedtime for 5 days so that you do not scratch while you are asleep, it will control symptoms of allergy. Your symptom is indicative of eczema, you can apply ointment Betnovate N to help control the spread.

Get it clinically examined by a Dermatologist. Get skin test, blood test, allergy test, biopsy (if required) done. Your treatment will depend on the disease diagnosed. You may need treatment by immunosuppressants, corticosteroids or your treating Dermatologist may recommend laser therapy. Keep the skin moisturized.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
