What Treatment Is Needed For Fever, Sore Throat And Painful Red Bumps On Hands?

Hi, I had a fever and sore throat last night and woke up with painful red bumps on my hands (fingers only). More have been appearing throughout the day and my hands are both now having pins and needle sensations. Any ideas of what this is and whether I will need treatment?

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi,

It may be viral skin disease...most probably Fifth disease. Consult the dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis and proper treatment.

I would recommend...

- antibiotic like Azithromycin
- paracetamol
- antihistaminic like cetirizine
- calamine lotion
- rest for a week

Hope this helps.
