What Treatment Is Recommended For An Elderly Patient Who Is Bedridden?
Hello my name is Arnold and my grandma is 80 years old and is bedridden and our family wants her walking again. My grandma can only be in a wheel chair as of right now because she has no strength on her legs for walking or standing up. How can we help her.
I went through your details. If your grandmother is bedridden, there could be a host of physical problems which might have been diagnosed by her doctor. The doctor must have prescribed medicines too. The treating doctor can only advise you whether your grand mother can walk again or not. In the mean time, you and your family must concentrate on nursing your grandmother. Elderly people are like kids. They will need assistance, motivation and appreciation in every aspect. If you and your family are able to provide the assistance, motivation and appreciation, your grandmother will be happy and satisfied. Such an atmosphere can positively affect her health.
