Hello,

It would be useful to know why did she perform the scan, what symptoms did she have. We treat patients not their CT scans and symptoms and history are vital to management. Many people may have some changes on scan without any symptoms and need for treatment at all.

If your wife is having pain in her back radiating to her left limb, it would be due to the pinched nerve described in the report. Initial management is anti-inflammatory pain killers and physical therapy. If that isn't working after 4-6 weeks local shots of steroids and anesthetics may be tried. If that is not working then surgery would be the last resort.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
