What Treatment Is Required According To The Following Semen Analysis Report?
Hi Doctor, Please find below my semen analysis report for your review and suggestion Volume – 2 ml Colour – Opaque gray pH – 8.5 Reaction – Alkaline Liquefaction Time – 30 min Total count – 23.05 million / ml Active motile – 60% Sluggish motile – 10% Non-motile – 30% Normal sperms – 10% Abnormal sperms – 90% Pus cell – 3-5 RBC – 0-2 whats ur opinion on my report and what is best advice u can suggest me to become father soon ???? Hi Mr.Balaji, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. From the semen analysis report you have posted, the following things can be inferred. 1. Physical parameters like volume, pH and liquification time are normal. 2. Total sperm count is also normal. 3. Sperm motility with 60% actively motile is good. 4. Sperm morphology with normal forms of 10% is a concern. 5. Pus cells presence is not indicating any infection. Hence, the fertility levels seems to be low in your case mainly because of presence of high percent of abnormal sperms.
