Welcome to HCM. There is symptomatic and neuroprotective (disease modifying) therapy. Levodopa, coupled with carbidopa, a peripheral decarboxylase inhibitor (PDI), remains the gold standard of symptomatic treatment for Parkinson disease. Monoamine oxidase (MAO)-B inhibitors can be considered for initial treatment of early disease. There are also other beneficial medicines but you have to keep in touch with your doctor and start under his guidance. Also take B12,folic acid, minerals and other supplements. Keep in touch with your doctor.
