What Treatment Is Suggested For Class 2 Diabetes?

HI, my wife and I are goin thru at little time with our marrage right now, I was on the road when she moved out, by the way she was acting I thought she may have been on some kind of drug that causes her to have no feeling about me, the kids or g kids, she lost a lot of weight that was extremely noticeable in the last 3 months, she swears she isn t takin any other drug besides what she is prescribed. however I found out cause she was havin difficulty with what was goin on as far as our splitting up, why would a dr double her dose of antidepresent med without lookin at her or having her come in to be checked out seems how she has clas 2 diabetous, and taking 9 different medications, my concern is, is the drugs being prescribed to her at this point helping her or harming her mentally, cause at this point id have to say harming her cause she seems really confused and disoriented and think she should be comin in for a checkup a lot more the every 3-4 months. it looks to me like the meds she is on is having a great deal of side affects as well as halusinating, very perinoid, extreme mode swings and so on,.. for example, last night she said she didn t want to see or talk to me and was very upset. this morning I got up, went to see her before she had her meds and we got along great, was able to talk and everything, even spent the day together and was like we were 20 and newly weds practiculy, tomarow it may be a whole different story again. im pretty sure shes having side affects to the drugs bein percribed, and if her dr is prescribing these drugs the I would think with that kinda degree why is it I feel I need to find out what the drugs are for, the side affects and whats causing her to have these problems, when the drug is prescribed, I think the dr should now what there for, why shy needs them and moniter any side affects or aware of the condition it may put her in if its to much a dose, a wrong drug, if the drug will help her or harm her, or if she has side affects from the drug or even what could happen if the drugs bein prescribed will react together or not to help or harm a person. as far as im concerned I see no reason for the anti-depresent meds let alone doubleing it up when the last time she was seen my a dr was 2 months prior to this

Hi
I can understand that you are very much disturbed by the behaviour of your wife. You said that your wife is taking medicines for Type 2 diabetes and antidepressants. All drugs have some side effects and some drugs may cause more problems in certain individuals. You informed that she is taking more number of medicines and you have not indicated names of actual medicines.
Antidepressants may have some unpleasant side effects and some times we have to take them for prolonged period as per psychiatrist's advice.
So please consult your physician or psychiatrist and discuss with him all the problems with him.You can get clarifications to your apprehensions .The drugs are prescription medicines.Hence your attending doctor only can change the medicines or withdraw some medicines .
Hope this answers your query
