Hello ma'am and welcome.

Sexually transmitted disease are not all that can occur. There are other more simple infections like a urinary tract infection, etc. Also, checking for a hormonal cause and other factors should also be considered as the STD panel has returned normal.

In the meantime, please make sure you do not indulge in sexual contact and drink plenty of water. I also hope you were not on any medication while taking the STD panel, as this can interfere with results.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.

OBGYN Dr. Sree Gouri SR's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for the query.
The possible causes for your problem are:
-Hormonal imbalance leading to intermenstrul spotting.
Stress and stain, wait changes etc can affect the hormonal levels.
-Ovulatory bleeding
-Thyroid hormonal abnormalities
-Local causes like polyps, cervical erosion etc.
So, once consult gynecologist and get examined.
With her advice go for investigations like ultrasound, thyroid profile, hormonal profile including estrogen, progesterone, LH, FSH etc.
With this workup the possible cause for your problem can be identified and treated.
Meanwhile you can take tablets to control the bleeding.
Take care.
