What Treatment Is Suggested For Pain (bump) Due To Dog Bite ?

I had a bit by a dog about 2 months ago, on top of my hand( above the middle finger/middl of the hand) and it took 2 weeks to heal and used to have a big bump but now it is small on my hand.
I have a pain whenever my top of hand get pulled. Please advised me to heal the pain, so I can use my right hand without too careful. Thank you, Inae

Hi. As the big bump is subsiding , the persistent pain can be due to a small nerve which got partially cut at bite or been entrapped in the scar tissue, or by the scar itself as it took 2 weeks to heal. I would suggest you to wait and watch if he pain is settling with time. Occasional tablet of over the counter painkiller to ease the pain, avoid all movements and maneuvers which pull the top of hand.
