HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, if this is the protozoa being detected then it has to be treated with antiprotozoal and Metronidazole and Tinidazole is the drug of choice only thing is it has to be taken in proper dose for specific time period, for the Metronidazole it has to be taken 400 mg to 700 mg twice in day for seven days, no need to take any antibiotic in absence of bacteria antibiotic do not have any role hope this information helps.
