What Treatment Should Be Taken For Arthritis C6 And C7 With Spasm?

have had pins and needles in left hand,4th ,5th fingers,and palm, and up elbow side of arm.for 10 days.' getting worse no injury. Xray shows " positive for arthritis c6 and c7 with spasm" Primary Md recommends physical therapy. Should I see a neuro or ortho md for a second opinion? Thanks

Yes you can consult ortho MD.
Due to compression of this nerve root there is tingling numbness and weakness in your arm and fingers pain associated with it.
I will advise you to MRI cervical spine for better diagnosis.

For these symptoms analgesic and neurotropic medication can be started.
Till time, avoid lifting weights, Sit with support to back. You can consult physiotherapist for help.
Physiotherapy like ultrasound and interferential therapy will give quick relief.
I will advise to check your vit B12 and vit D3 level.
