What Treatment Should Be Taken For Cysts In Ovaries?

I have PCOS and four months ago delivered a 9lb baby boy. I do not ovulate so i've never had a successful period on my own. We had help through fertility services to have have two kids. All of a sudden I started having a periods on and off for the past two months. I went to the doc because I wanted to be assured that I was "finally" having a period. The doc did an ultrasound and saw many cyst in my ovaries and my endometruim lining was at 16mm. The doc was concerned and placed me on provera for 10 days and will check lining again in December. Is this the normal steps to take?
